Halloween night, we had Grandma & Grandpa Harrell, Grandma & Grandpa Alloway, Ratchel and Katie (our cousins) and each of them brought a friend, Kelsey, Nick, and Conner, and Great-Grandpa Loyd over for trick-or-treating. We got all dressed up and headed out about dark. Grandma Nita saw to it once again this year that the kids were the cutest on the block - she made all of the costumes, special ordered by each grandkid, just to their liking! The kids loved trick-or-treating this year! We had to take turns at each house ringing the “ding-bell”. They would RUN up to the front doors this year, as long as the house wasn’t too decorated – they weren’t too fond of some of the scary decorations.

We had a really fun evening. The adults even cashed in at one house in Grand Oaks that gives out Martinis to all the grown-up trick-or-treaters! After going through the neighborhood, we headed to the Mall Deli to see Aunt Carrie, who had dressed up with some of the other workers there as the Village People. It was really cute. After that, we came home and devoured chili, taco soup, cornbread, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin bars. It was delicious! Baby Conner (and Kelsey & Nick) spent the night with us, too, which finished off a perfect Halloween night!
