Well, I know it appears as if I haven't done a thing on the blog since I promised that I would, but just keep reading! I backdated all of our Christmas activities for when they actually happened, so there are a lot of "older posts" that are actually newer posts! I think I am finally done, a month later, getting all of our Christmas fun posted. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did!

Blog Site Slacker
Well, I finally got my computer back up and running tonight. I have been on a short blogging hiatus, but I promise to start updating on the holidays now. I got a new camera, I must warn you, so there will be numerous pics show up over the next few weeks, I'm sure. I got a new computer for my birthday, so now I have room to download all of my Christmas pictures (finally). I'm a little behind, as usual, but I promise to try to not leave any part of our Christmas excitement out. I will try to encompass some of our pre-Christmas fun and planning, as well as include all of our 436 total miles that we traveled (all within a 50 mile radius of our home) from Christmas Eve until our festivities ended the Saturday after Christmas (yes, Christmas was Thursday!). We had a very blessed Christmas to say the least, and we are happy to report that you can now see all of the carpet and counter tops in our house except for in the playroom. As for the playroom, it may be a while . . .
Keep watching for updates - more to come! I'll also try to include a little about our New Year's Eve & my 29th Birthday!

Slumber Party
Emma, Olivia, Molly, & Rayleigh
Rayleigh holding Maci (the puppy) while the girls were having some fun Wii time!
Our neighbors invited the girls over for a slumber party tonight. I can't believe that they are already old enough to be spending the night at someone's house, but they loved it. Of course, Emma and Livie (Olivia) are their very bestest friends! Brandon cooked crock-pot pizza (sounded delicious - I'm gonna have to try it out at home) and the girls played the Wii and watched Hannah Montana movies. I guess they didn't go to bed until the wee hours of the night, and just had a ball. They stayed until about noon the next day. It is so nice to have such wonderful neighbors!Posted by Tyler & Robyn at 10:39 PM 0 comments
Happy New Year!!!
Yes, this is indeed MY GRANDPA!
This is evidence of what can happen if you do not keep your relatives under lock & key around the holidays!! Tyler always teases Grandpa that he is "going to take him back to 'the home' if he doesn't behave himself". Grandpa was at a New Year's party at his sister-in-laws house, and Mom says that he was "quite proud of himself" for taking this photo op!
He's quite the ham as you can tell by this picture - I'm just hoping that his "good looks" run in the family!! Hope this started your New Year off with a laugh!

Our New Years Eve
Our New Years Eve this year consisted of Gorilla Nachos at home (and some other appetizers) & virgin strawberry daiquiris with the kids. We had a family game night. I think we played 15 different games. We got a lot of new games for Christmas, so we tried out all of those! "What's in Ned's Head", "Slamwich", and "Buckaroo" were a few of the favs for the evening. Tyler & I got into a grueling match of Blowkus (of which I am still the champ, I might add!). We had a wonderful, relaxing evening at home - the kids really seemed to enjoy having Mom & Dad all to themselves, with nothing to do but play with them. We really enjoy taking the time to do that as well. The kids watched the ball drop at 11:00 pm and headed to bed - they were beat. We watched the replay at mid-night, wished each other a Happy New Year, and retreated to bed ourselves. We were all still pretty worn out from the Holiday Season.
