These pics are from Grandparents Day at the girls’ school on Sept. 19. I just got the pictures is why I am so late on the blog post (sounds like a good excuse anyway!). The girls had a lot of fun showing off their “new home” to Grandma’s and Grandpa’s, as well as their church and classroom! The grandparents attended mass with the kids first to start the day – I guess it was so full that both grandpas had to stand up. Next year they will know to go earlier, the kindergarten parents were the ones standing – they’re still learning the ropes! Then the Home & School group served cinnamon rolls to all of them in the activity center, followed-up by a trip to their classroom to show off their hard work. It was a nice time for Grandma & Grandpa to meet their teacher as well. I think the family involvement is only one more reason that we are so happy with our decision to send the kids to a parish school! So far, we love it!
