Molly's 1st Soccer Game

The kids won their game today, something like 5-1. They did a really good job. Molly was a little unsure at first as to what she was supposed to be doing, but she caught on by the end. She did her very best though, and tried very hard to be involved, so I was very proud of her. We have come a long way since last summer when Grandpa had to stand on the T-ball field with them because they were too shy to stand out there by themselves! I am also very proud of her for trying to learn something new to all of us - it is nice to see her step out of a comfort zone and be brave about it. All in all - I was very pleased with how the day went.

The ref / umpire (what is it in soccer) explained all of the rules as the game got under way.

A cute spectator!

Megan Lindsay's first goal of the day . . . she scored the most - good little soccer player!

Emma & Molly racing for the ball

Emma showing the boys how it is done - Molly running in . . . "I got your back, Emma!"

"In case you missed it the first time boys . . ."

Larry, Moe, and Curly . . . Oops, I mean, Coach, Molly, and Coach!

Emma's 1st GOAL of the season!

Molly congratulating Emma on her goal!

Good game, good game, good game . . .

A little windy to say the least (and cold), but still smiling - I think she had a good time!

"Panthers on three . . ."

Another cute on-looker . . .

Molly & her best friend, Emma Brill

Still having fun after the game is over!
