Weekend with Girlfriends

I got to leave Friday night and head for Branson with some of my girlfriends from high school for the weekend! I have such a wonderful husband that he welcomed the weekend with open arms and was happy for me that I got to get away for a short time. I had a wonderful time, and haven’t laughed so hard since the last time that we were all together. Joyce & Chris Carson were kind enough to open up their lake house, complete with hot chocolate and 4 king size beds waiting on us! It was a beautiful place, and we were so grateful to get to use it! We stayed up until the wee hours of the night on Friday, talking and laughing and sharing stories and playing Scatergories, and laughing some more. On Saturday, we went into Branson to Tanger Outlet Mall and to The Landing for a day filled with shopping, and finished off the evening with dinner & a warm cup of coffee. Then it was back to the lake house for more appetizers and warm conversation. Sunday, we regretfully had to say our goodbyes for a while again, and headed back to the grind at home. Each of us were missing the “grind” as much as we were hesitating to return to it! Ali Bussinger, Jenn (Carson) Bebb, Megan (Fultz) Carnahan, Lynne (Dalke) Sitton, Tammy (Weidert) Hayward, and myself, along with the two nursing babies, Kinsey Bebb and Amelia Carnahan, all had a wonderful weekend!
