Today we went to Marta's Cutting Edge to get Tucker's first big boy haircut. I wanted to cry as she trimmed off all of those beautiful baby curls, but it was time. Just one more little step of having to "let go" of that baby phase. He did wonderfully, sitting very still for Marta while she trimmed him up. He even let her clean everything up with the little electric clippers, and I think he really liked how the powder felt on his neck when she was finished. He has been very proud of it all night, telling everyone about his big boy haircut. He has also informed us that he can now run faster, and that he is a big boy football player now, all because of a little haircut. Amazing how $8.00 can transform a kids life, isn't it?
