I think they spotted us in the stands!
A little shy at first . . .
Clapping all in sync! Good job kindergartners!
"COL - GAN . . . Colgan . . .
PANTHERS!" (Molly on left & Rayleigh on right)
This made for a fun night. Last Friday night (February 6th) the girls participated in their first cheer clinic. They performed at half time of the girls' basketball game and did a spectacular job. They were so cute, of course. I'm not sure if we will develop into cheerleaders or basketball players, but for now, we are just happy watching them do whatever makes them happy. They did two different cheers and then did a little dance with the dance team. I was pretty impressed with how well all of the girls did considering that they only practiced twice together. Grandma & Grandpa Alloway got to come watch with us, but Grandma and Grandpa Harrell were in Florida on vacation. Their Florida vacation is another whole story in itself - it was the coldest in Florida that it has been in ten years the week they were there! I'm not sure that they wouldn't have rather been at the cheer clinic with us!
Later that night, when we went to eat with Mom and Dad, the kids gave them an early Valentine's Day card. In the card, they had recorded their voices to say, "Happy Valentine's Day!From: Rayleigh, Molly, Tucker, (and the sound of a baby crying)." Then the card starts singing I'm So Excited by The Pointer Sisters. Then each of them signed it and we added "?" to announce the news of the baby on the way! They loved it, and they, too, were so excited, and they just can't hide it!
